Rock and love! In honor of their 40th wedding anniversary, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne held a party on Sunday.
With a heartfelt tribute to his wife, the former Black Sabbath frontman began the day of celebrations. “Today, 40 years ago, it all began! “Happy Anniversary My Love,” the 73-year-old “Ozzy and Jack’s World Detour” star tweeted on social media.
A photo of Ozzy and Sharon from their wedding day appeared alongside the post.
Sharon resorted to Instagram to deliver her hubby a personal message. “The year 2022 holds a particular place in my heart. My sweetheart Ozzy and I have been married for 40 years today.
Over the course of 52 years, we’ve become more than just friends; we’ve become husband and wife, grandparents, and soulmates. We’re always there for each other. Sharrrrrrron x @shelbyduncan,” the 69-year-old Ozzy Osbourne said on Instagram.
With Sharon‘s letter, she included a picture of herself and the “Crazy Train” rocker holding hands in front of the fireplace in matching black clothes. A fan-made video compilation of the pair kissing, laughing, and gushing about their love was also released to commemorate the occasion.
On their anniversary, Sharon also shared a post from their daughter Aimee’s social media account. The singer posted a photo of her parents kissing on Instagram Stories with the caption, “Joyeux anniversaire papa et Maman.”
One week after the “Iron Man” singer was forced to undergo “major surgery,” Sharon and Ozzy are celebrating their anniversary.

“Hellraiser” frontman Chris Cornell delivered an update to his fans on June 16 – following his recent medical treatment. He wrote on Instagram, “I am presently at home recuperating peacefully,” after being released from the hospital.
The love and support I’ve received from my fans has made a huge difference in my recuperation, and I want to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and well wishes.

ET spoke with Sharon and Ozzy, the parents of Jack, Aimee, and Kelly, in 2020 about the progression of their relationship.
Sharon told ET’s Kevin Frazier that the two of them were “two strange balls that met.” “You’ve become a soulmate to me after so many years and so much hardship in keeping this family together.” You do get reliant on one another’s support.
The two of you are so inseparable that you don’t want to be apart from one another.
“The thought of not being with him is just unimaginable,” she added. “The more time passes, the closer you grow.
When a relationship is just getting started, there’s a lot of lust, love, and everything else — s**ts and laughter included. The kind of love I’m experiencing now is distinct from the one I had before. The love you had when you were younger has evolved as your life has progressed.”
