Google Play Points Rewards Programme Comes to India: Check Details

Google has revealed that its global rewards program will now be accessible to users in India after the company made the announcement. The initiative will be known as Google Play Points, and it will provide consumers rewards in the form of points whenever they use Play Store billing to make in-app purchases. These acquisitions may take the form of apps, games, movies, or even eBooks.

The rewards program will also have four levels: bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. These levels will provide members with varied privileges and gifts according to the Tier they are in, which will once again be determined by the total number of points they have accumulated. It is important to keep in mind that Play Points can only be used for in-app purchases made through the Google Play Store.

Once enough Play Points have been accumulated, the user can exchange them for Google Play credit and then choose which apps to utilize the credit to purchase.

According to a blog post by Google, “We have also worked with developers of popular applications and games across the world to allow users to redeem their points for exclusive in-app goodies.” This was stated in reference to the company’s partnership with the app and game developers.

The Play Points rewards program will partner with games developed by worldwide studios such as Miniclip’s 8 Ball Pool and those developed by local studios such as Gametion’s Ludo King in the Indian market. Other well-known applications, such as Wysa and Truecaller, will also be incorporated into this.
