Is Amani Aliyya and Woody Randall Welcome First Baby Together?

Officially, Amani Aliyya and Woody Randall are parents. On Friday, June 3, Reign Randall, a son of the Married at First Sight actors who starred in season 11 of the show, was born.

Reign was born weighing 6 pounds, 8 ounces, and measuring 20.5 inches. “We’re very happy. It’s all so unbelievable and still seems like a dream. Randall tells PEOPLE, “He’s really precious.

Considering that we gave birth at home, Aliyya continues, “it was lovely to create that energy ourselves, surrounded by each other and the birthing team.

” It was unique and incredibly private.

The couple originally revealed their wonderful pregnancy news to PEOPLE exclusively in February.

At the time, Aliyya told PEOPLE, “We’re very fortunate to be able to start this parenting adventure as we celebrate our second anniversary as a couple.

The reality star claimed they discovered Aliyya was expecting when she was “around 8 weeks,” after initially believing Aliyya had “food poisoning from ahi tuna” following a trip to L.A. for the MAFS Boston Special filming.

She said, “Woody hoped I was pregnant. “I performed a pregnancy test that weekend and the results were negative.

I was still queasy when I got home, but Woody demanded I take the test again. One Saturday morning, I dreaded taking another test and called for him to enter the restroom. What, are you pregnant? he asked with a smile.

I gave him the positive pregnancy test and nodded,” she recalled. He grinned so broadly. He was expelled from the restroom by me.

At the time, according to Aliyya, she was still “unconvinced” and ultimately had “another test and got another positive result.”

At the time of his MAFS participation, Randall was a teacher and coach in New Orleans, where he was born and bred. Aliyya traveled to New Orleans to attend college after being born in Northern California and reared in Chicago.
