Tales of the Jedi Season 2 Release Date!
As of June 2023, there is no official date for the release of season 2 of Tales of the Jedi. But based on what Filoni has done before, we can probably guess that it will come out in late 2023 or early 2024.
Tales of the Jedi’s first season came out about a year after it was announced, so it’s possible that season 2 will do the same.
Filoni and his team are also working on a lot of other Star Wars projects, like The Mandalorian season 4 and Ahsoka, so it’s possible that Tales of the Jedi season 2 will be pushed back or delayed to make room in their schedule. Tales of the Jedi Season 2 Plot!
We don’t know for sure what will happen in Tales of the Jedi season 2, but based on what we saw in season 1 and what Filoni has said in interviews, we can make some educated guesses.
Filoni has said that Tales of the Jedi is a collection of short stories that can be about any Star Wars character or time period. He also said that he likes to surprise his fans with stories and connections that don’t make sense.
So, it’s likely that season 2 of Tales of the Jedi will introduce new characters and stories we haven’t seen before or give us more information about some we have.

- Obi-Wan Kenobi: The famous Jedi Master has a long and complicated history that includes his training with Qui-Gon Jinn and his time in exile on Tatooine. Tales of the Jedi could show some of his missions and battles during the Clone Wars, his part in figuring out what Palpatine was up to, or what happened to him after Anakin electrocuted him and threw him out a window.
- Yoda is the wise and mysterious Grand Master of the Jedi Order. Many generations of Jedi have looked up to and learned from him. Some of his secrets and past could be told in Tales of the Jedi, like where he came from, how he learned to use the Force, or what he did while he was in exile on Dagobah.
Tales of the Jedi Season 2 Cast Prediction!
As of April 2023, there are no confirmed cast members for season 2 of Tales of the Jedi.
Ahsoka is likely to have some kind of role in Tales of the Jedi season 2, so her voice actress, Ashley Eckstein, will almost certainly be back.
James Arnold Taylor and Matt Lanter could be back as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, and Dee Bradley Baker could be back as Captain Rex of the clone troopers.
Fans will also hope that Qui-Gon Jinn will get more attention in the new show. Liam Neeson voiced the character in the first season of Tales of the Jedi.
