Sex Education Season 3: More Updates Regarding The Cast, Plot, Release Date For Fans.

What will happen to Sex Education?

Sex Education is a big phenomenon on Netflix. After an electrifying debut season, the attraction returned to an even more optimistic second year.

As our critique of the Series Mix pointed out, when marathoning the second season of Sex Education, we are presented with a relevant and necessary series for the audience that wants to talk. But, also, it can show that it is not only the teenager who experiences sexual problems.

At this point, likely, part of the fans has already marathon the series completely and, because of that, are already looking for information about new episodes. Thinking about it, the Series Mix brought you the official information that has already been published about the future of the series.

Will Sex Education have a third season?

Good news: Sex Education is officially renewed for the third season. The news was confirmed by Netflix on February 10. However, Spoiler TV had already said in January that the series had already been renewed behind the scenes. With that, more episodes are coming!

When will the third season premiere?

The production of the series already had a schedule for the recordings in 2020, as it was in 2019. However, there was a delay due to the pandemic. It was only in September 2020 that recording began. The information was confirmed by a backstage video. Check it out below!

Initially, the series would premiere its third season on January 17th. But we believe that the episodes can’t be ready by this date, so we bet that it will premiere in the first quarter of 2021 – until March.

The cast: who will be in the new episodes?

Asa Butterfield plays Otis Milburn, a teenager who gives sex advice to colleagues, the result of lessons learned from his sex therapist mother, Jean (Gillian Anderson).

In the second season of Sex Education, Otis engages in a romance with Ola Nyman (Patricia Allison) but continues to think about her unrequited feelings for Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey). The second part of the Netflix series features numerous romantic subplots involving characters from different races and backgrounds, including Eric Effiong (Ncuti Gatwa), Adam Groff (Connor Swindells), Jackson Marchetti (Kedar Williams-Stirling), Aimee Gibbs (Aimee Lou Wood), Lily Iglehart (Tanya Reynolds), Otis’ new love interest, Ruby (Mimi Keene), and a French exchange student named Rahim (Sami Outalbali).

It is expected that much if not all, this regular cast returns for the third season.

Spoilers: what will happen?

In the final episodes of the second season of Sex Education, Otis remains as nervous as ever, but in fact, has lost his virginity. Unfortunately, unresolved personal problems lead to some public breakdowns, which means that Otis is not seen as the ideal romantic partner by many of his colleagues. Maeve expresses her feelings but has a lot to deal with her mother’s drug relapse. So, are Otis and Maeve going to be together? This is perhaps the big question of the third year.

The big news of the second season of Sex Education is that Otis expressed his love for Maeve and that his mother Jean is pregnant. Interestingly, none of his romantic interests received this information. In Jean’s case, she has to be especially careful with communication, as she has had some difficult conversations with her son about the secret business of sexual counseling. And Otis didn’t tell Maeve face-to-face that he loves her, but he did it through an audio recording.

Meanwhile, Adam takes a more direct approach, expressing his public admiration for Eric Effiong. For dramatic purposes, it seems possible that Maeve will not receive the news in any way and that Otis will continue to get lost in his thoughts.

But we know the following: Ola has overcome Otis and is forming a romantic relationship with Lily. Jackson also takes a direct approach to communication and tells his mother that he no longer wants to swim. Even Otis looks into his father’s eyes and expresses concerns, hoping to better understand why his upbringing does not always translate properly into personal relationships.

The wildcard, from now on, could be Ruby’s possible interest in Otis, putting her in a small confrontation against Maeve. The third season of Sex Education on Netflix is likely to shuffle things up and introduce new characters that may be luckier than poor Rahim.
