‘Sex And The City’ Returns Without Kim Cattrall


On June 6, 1998, an episode of a series that you surely remember was broadcast for the first time: Sex and the City. The show, which aired from 1998 to 2004, is a popular culture landmark for being one of the first to talk about female sexual pleasure and for setting various fashion trends worldwide.

Now, just over 22 years after its premiere, a sequel has been confirmed , in miniseries format, which will be available through HBO Max .

The iconic series will return and will star Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes and Kristin Davis as Charlotte York.

Although undoubtedly what has caught the attention of the fans is that, for the moment, actress Kim Cattrall has not confirmed her participation .

Kim played New York City public relations representative Samantha Jones from 1998 to 2004 on the HBO series. He earned five Emmy nominations for his work and won a Golden Globe in 2003 for his performance .

The actress returned for the movie Sex & The City in 2008 and its sequel in 2010. Although there were initially plans for a third installment, the tension between her and actress Sarah Jessica Parker was part of the reason she did not want to return.
