The Mafia Targeted Selena’s Family For The Netflix Series: “They Want People To Adore Them”

Selena’s series on Netflix  gave something to talk about with a first season that showed the singer’s beginnings in the Tex-Mex environment. Although the premiere was among the most watched in December, it also received criticism for considering that it lacked conflicts in the plot . The Texan group La Mafia gave their opinion on the episodes and directly targeted the Quintanilla family for what was seen on the screen . What happened?

Oscar De la Rosa and Armando Lichtenberger, members of the band originally from Houston, were invited to the Telemundo program Suelta La Sopa and spoke about the deceased singer. There they recalled that his breakthrough in music in 1980 opened the way for Texan artists in Mexico like Selena .
