The Price Of Perfection Season 2: Everything We Already Know

The Price of Perfection is a dramatic ballet series that follows events at an elite ballet academy in Chicago, the Archer School of Ballet. After a tragic incident, the star pupil is replaced by Neveah, who soon realizes that the world she entered is dark – full of lies, betrayal, and fierce competition.

Created by Michael MacLennan, the series is based on the novel by Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton. It debuted in December 2020 on Netflix. The dramatic series is laced with fascinating ballet sequences, suspense, and betrayals – an intoxicating mix that has attracted a lot of attention. Could this mean that there will be a second season? Let’s find out!

Season 2 Of The Price of Perfection: Renewal And Release Date

The first season of The Price of Perfection arrived on December 14, 2020, on Netflix. The first season comprises ten episodes of 54-58 minutes each.

Regarding the 2nd season, the news of the renewal is awaited. However, the end of season 1 looks like a promising starting point for another season. In addition, the book on which the series is based also has a second novel called ‘Shiny Broken Pieces’, which continues the history of the Chicago-based ballet school.

Therefore, although the original material is available, what remains to be determined is the program’s performance on Netflix. If the result is favorable and the program is renewed, we can expect the second season of ‘ The price of perfection ‘ to be launched in 2022.

The Cast Of Season 2 Of The Price Of Perfection: Who Can Participate?

Lauren Holly plays Madame Monique DuBois, who is the director of the Archer School of Ballet. Kylie Jefferson plays Neveah Stroyer, who takes the place of former star student Cassie Shore (Anna Marche) in Archer. Cashmere Jollette rehearses the role of Bette Whitlaw, who struggles to be accepted by her own family, and Michelle Nolden plays her mother, Katrina.

Other cast members are Shaun Benson (Topher Brooks), Daniela Norman (June Park), Brennan Clost (Shane), Damon J. Gillespie (Caleb), Bayardo De Murguia (Ramon).

The series also features Barton Cowperthwaite as Oren, Michael Hsu Rosen as Nabil, Jess Willow as Isabel, and Tory Trowbridge as Delia Whitelaw. If there is another season, almost all the main actors will come back to reprise their roles, except perhaps Murguia.

As Ramon dies at the end of season 1, we will not see Murguia unless there are flashback scenes involving him. There may be a few more changes possible, as new actors may join the cast.

Plot: What Can Happen?

The first season shows Cassie returning to ballet school to make a public statement in front of the press. It is revealed that, although Cassie blames Bette for pushing her out of the building, she was actually Delia, Bette’s sister. Delia convinces Bette to take responsibility for her and makes her see why pushing Cassie off the roof may have been a good idea. Students reveal a shocking truth about Madame DuBois in a long-awaited presentation.

The Ballet School has received donations from powerful people in business in exchange for dancers of their choice, who often end up in dangerous situations. The final episode of the season ends with Katrina being named the new director, while Ramon is found stabbed in the chest.

If there is a second season, we will see Cassie’s showdown against Neveah, Bette, and June. As indicated at the end of season 1, Cassie plays a role in the death of Ramon, who is also June’s father.

Bette has her own account to settle with Cassie, as she blamed Bette for her fall. But the question remains whether Bette “won” her position as Whitlaw or not. Although Katrina is named the new director, will she be able to maintain that position? Since Topher and Caleb support Madame in the final episode of Season 1, they may have a game up their sleeve.

This is further motivated by the fact that Cassie claims that she “won” just before Ramon was found dead. Clearly, management will see some muddy changes if there is another season. Oren and Bette seem to be getting closer again. Could this mean problems for Neveah’s relationship with Oren?

The Price Of Perfection Is Already On Netflix.
