‘Cobra Kai’: Netflix Anticipates The Premiere Of A Season 3 That Will Be Full Of Nostalgia

Good news for Cobra Kai fans. If you were counting the days until the premiere of season 3 of the sequel series to the famous Karate Kid films, you will be happy to know that the fiction starring Ralph Macchio again in the shoes of Daniel will debut a week earlier than planned on Netflix. As announced by the streaming platform, which now owns the rights to the hit fiction and broadcasts it as one of Netflix’s original series in its own right, the new installment will be released on January 1, 2021 and not on January 8. January, just as it had been announced at first.

Great way to welcome the new year.

According to the official synopsis of the third season of Cobra Kai, which will consist of 10 episodes that will see the light of a single time on the platform, the delivery will start by resuming the events that closed the previous installment. Thus, the protagonists will still be “suffering the aftermath of the violent high school fight that left Miguel in a precarious situation.” Meanwhile, the most nostalgic part of the plot will introduce us to “Daniel looking for answers in his past”, while “Johnny seeks redemption and Kreese further manipulates his vulnerable students with his own vision of dominance.”

“The soul of the Valley is at stake”, the synopsis ends warning.

Also, the third season will have the presence of some veterans of the franchise, who will be retaking their characters. On the one hand, Tamlyn Tomita, reprising her role as Kumiko in Karate Kid 2: The Story Continues, and, on the other, Yuji Okumoto, who returns as Chozen.

With the premiere of the third just around the corner, you’ll also be happy to know that Netflix has already renewed the series for a fourth season.
