‘Euphoria’: The HBO Series Will Have A Special Episode For Covid-19

With the fuel on after the Emmys, we walk like crazy to know when we can see the new seasons of the award-winning series. And in balancing dates is HBO whose president, Casey Bloys, throws us a small jug of cold water when hetells us when we will see the new of ‘ Euphoria ‘.

Season 2 of the series starring Zendaya, winner of the Emmy for best actress in a dramawill begin filming in early 2021. All this if the COVID-19 pandemic allows it. This would mean that until well into next year … or even 2022, we might not see what’s new from Rue, Jules, and company.

Somewhat sooner, we will see season 3 of ‘ Succession ‘, which will begin shooting in the coming months. What Bloys has confirmed is that, as a bridge between the first and second seasons, ‘Euphoria’ will have a special COVID quarantine episode. Something that Zendaya herself told Jimmy Kimmel a few weeks ago:

“We could end up doing a little bridging episode. I wouldn’t know how to describe it, but an episode that we can do with a limited number of people in a safer environment … to have something to live with until we’re able to go to town. season 2”

We do not have more details about this bridge episode, but the truth is that it is already becoming a bit tiring that all series have something about the coronavirus among their plans. After the series’ premiere in summer 2019, ‘Euphoria’ season 2 was just about to go into production just before the pandemic broke out.
