The Bosch series is one of Amazon’s first Originals, has already been renewed for its seventh and final season even before the premiere of Friday at the end of 2020.

The final season of the drama starring Titus Welliver, which is based on Michael Conelly’s bestsellers, will be inspired by the novels  The Concrete Blonde and  The Burning Room.

Harry Bosch (Welliver) and Jerry Edgar (Jamie Hector) will work on two different but very dangerous murder investigations that will reveal major white-collar crimes and the terrible underworld of drug trafficking on the streets.

“It all started seven years ago, with showrunner Eric Overmyer and me writing the pilot. We plan to write the last episode together as well. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished with  Bosch and excited to finish the story in season seven. It is a mixed feeling, but all good things end and I am happy that we can follow the path we want ”, said the book writer.

The series was produced by Fabrik, which belongs to Red Arrow Studios, and Henrik Bastin, partner and CEO of the company, said that the production of the series was an incredible journey. He also expressed his gratitude to Connelu, Overmyer and executive producer Pieter Jan Brugge.

“I am very proud to know that we gave everything we had to the series and the fans. I would also like to thank Amazon for its unwavering support and engagement since the beginning of this project and throughout all seven seasons, ”said Bastin.

Bosch is one of Amazon’s longest series, and is available on its streaming platform, Amazon Prime.
