The film will premiere on the platform on January 27 in the United States, England or France. However, in Spain it will likely arrive earlier in theaters and it still does not have announced the date for its arrival on the platform.
The film is based on the novel by Bradley Trevor Greive and Cameron Bloom. It tells the story of a mother, Sam Bloom (Watts), who becomes paraplegic after an accident on her vacation. Your consolation will be caring for an injured magpie. Lincoln plays Cameron, Sam’s husband and author of the novel. Rachel House and Jacki Weaver complete the cast of a film produced by Watts alongside Emma Cooper, Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky and Jodi Matterson. In a joint statement to Variety they discussed their interest in the story:
We all fell in love with what affirms the life and story of Sam and his undeniable spirit. The emotional journey that she and her family take after Penguin enters their lives is unforgettable.
“Pengiun Bloom” is Andrew Lincoln’s first work since his notorious “farewell” as Rick Grimes on “The Walking Dead” in 2018. However, let’s not forget that he plans to return to the character in a film as yet untitled.
