Ozark Season 4: Release Date, Cast, Plot And All Updates Here

Ozark Season 4 Release: When We Will See It

Ozark 4 season: the four comes by itself for the series produced by Jason Bateman.

The third season of Ozark debuted on Netflix on Friday 27 March, coming in streaming 19 months after the debut of the previous one.

The ten episodes on the Byrde family saga will not be the last either: Ozark 4 is on the horizon. On Monday 30 June, Netflix broke the delay by formalizing the fourth season of Ozark, which will also be the last for the series. Below is the official announcement released by the streaming giant through its Twitter account:

The shooting of Ozark 4 has yet to begin: the shutdown imposed on economic and production activities by the Covid-19 health emergency will probably be relaxed in the coming months, allowing the set to reopen by the end of the year.

To see Ozark 4 we may have another long wait ahead of us. Officially commissioned in October 2018, filming for the third season kicked off last May in the US state of Georgia and lasted until October of the same year.

Now that Netflix’s renewal comes in early summer, pre-production on Ozark 4 could allow filming to kick off between the end of the year and early 2021. This will allow the very busy cast composed, among others, by Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, and Julia Garner, to find their place in their respective agendas.

The first part of the fourth season of Ozark, which will be shot in a single solution, could land on Netflix by the end of 2021, and to follow the second and last in the course of 2022.

We look forward to an official announcement from Netflix in this regard.

Ozark Season 4 Plot: Previews

In an interview with Thrillist in September 2018, showrunner Chris Mundy revealed not only that he has the story of Ozark season 4 in mind, but also that it is a single volume along with season 3.

Here are the words of Mundy, who when he released this interview was preparing to begin work on the third season of Ozark (at the time not yet officially commissioned by Netflix):

In April last year, host of a panel dedicated to the series within the Milken Global Conference, Mundy said that the project he has in mind for Ozark includes five seasons.

Netflix has decided to grant the series a fourth season longer than the previous ones, with fourteen episodes compared to ten of the first three. However, since Ozark 4 will be distributed in two parts, it is as if it were a fourth and a fifth season.

Jason Bateman himself, protagonist, director, and executive producer of the series, had warned fans that Ozark was nearing the end:
