After almost a year and a half, Netflix made the new episodes of Disenchantment available. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the series has been gaining momentum every month. In this way, questions about the fourth season of animation have been emerging.

Created by Matt Groenning, from “Simpsons and Futurama”, Desencanto follows the story of the impulsive Bean. The young woman is a princess from the medieval kingdom of Dreamland. Also, the young woman is accompanied by an Elf and a personal demon named Luci. Well, here is everything we know about the fourth season of Disenchantment.

Disenchantment is already renewed for the fourth season

At first, it is important to note that the future of Desencanto is already guaranteed. In October 2018, Netflix announced that the series would win two parts. Since the first is the third season, and in turn, the next part, will be characterized as the fourth season of Disenchantment.

Recently, the series’ producers have already stated that they are working on the continuity of the plot. Initially, the pandemic delayed the plans for the third year, but the same will not be a problem for the next season.

Premiere Date: When does the new season of Disenchantment arrive?

Despite the unstable moment, we can say that the fourth season of Disenchantment will not be delayed. However, although the series seems simple, its production uses technology that makes it laborious. Still, we can predict that the episodes will arrive in the catalog in 2022. A more assertive prediction is that Netflix will debut the fourth season of Disenchantment, between February and March.

Plot: What will happen

At the end of the third season, Odval tries to dethrone Bean’s father, King Zog. Also, he tries to put Bean’s half brother, Derek, as the king. Zøg is seized by dementia. However, Bean finds a way to talk to him. With this, the new Queen of Dreamland is crowned, much to Odval’s disappointment. In the final episodes, an army of ogres captures Elf, and he is taken away.

Already in the fourth season, we will see Bean dealing with the duties of being the new Queen in Disenchantment. Certainly, she is destined to face the challenges that will test her patience and strength. Finally, Bean has yet to find a way to bring back Elf. For his part, he is trapped in Ogre territory and it will not be easy to face them.

Cast: who’s coming back?

As it is an animation, all the actors who give voices to the characters will likely return. They are Abbi Jacobson as Bean, Eric Andre as Lucy and Pendergast, Nat Faxon as Elf, and John DiMaggio as King Zøg.

Desencanto also features Tress MacNeille and Maurice LaMarche. These actors voice most of the main characters and will return in season four.
