The Black Panther 2 movie will be one of the most anticipated in Phase 4 of the Marvel Studios Cinematic Universe.
After the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman, Marvel Studios have had to change the initial plans they had for Black Panther 2. Some time ago Kevin Feige confirmed that the character of T’Challa will not be made by CGI and no other actor will play him. This means that someone new will be the next ruler of Wakanda and must wear the costume of their hero and protector. At the moment, it seems almost certain that the replacement will be Shuri ( Letitia Wright ) the sister of T’Challa. But it seems that it will have a series of competition for the throne.
The death of T’Challa will cause chaos in the country of Wakanda at the start of Black Panther 2 and many characters will compete for the right to rule. This shouldn’t come as a big surprise either, as we saw this exact process in the first installment of 2018. Described as the Incorporation, each of the Wakanda tribes had a chance to challenge T’Challa for the throne at Warrior Falls, though almost all of them refused. It appeared that he would be crowned unopposed until M’Baku of the Jabari tribe arrived and the pair faced an intense battle in which T’Challa finally prevailed.
The next fight for the throne will be fierce.
Shuri must work hard to defeat his rivals if he wants to get the throne since in this fight technology cannot be used, something that could give him a lot of advantage. It is also rumored that apart from the internal problems in Wakanda, the Black Panther 2 movie will show external enemies such as Namor and Doctor Doom.
In Black Panther 2 we could see a confrontation between Wakanda and Atlantis, a situation apparently secretly manipulated by Doctor Doom. Although for now we will have to wait a while to know all the details of this new installment of the Marvel Studios Cinematic Universe.
