Stranger Things Season 4: Release Date, Cast, Plot And Find Out All Updates

Stranger Things Season 4

Stranger Things season 4 has been verified by Netflix. Here’s everything we understand about season 4 so far, including information, spoilers, and concepts about Hopper and Eleven.

Nerds, it is official. Stranger Things 4 is coming. It’s happening. It is confirmed. And today, it has been officially demonstrated that Hopper, who allegedly died at the end of season 3, is ALIVE. It’s been confirmed that Chief Hopper is your American prisoner, putting to bed several notions.

At the most recent teaser trailer, Hopper can be seen working in the snowy field of Kamchatka, with a shaved head. While it’s no surprise he’s alive, fans formerly believed he might have been stuck in the Upside Down. Watch the preview at the top of the page.

The most recent news? A mysterious brand new phone number has been revealed after a Russian bundle was sent to lovers. If you telephone 907-206-7700, you may listen to a voice message in new character Yuri, who owns a travel business in Alaska… which is very near Russia.

8 new characters are revealed, such as Jonathan’s new BFF, a Russian guard, a brand new jock in Hawkins High School, and an orderly in a mental hospital, performed with Jamie Campbell Bower.

New pictures from the collection in Atlanta show Dustin, Max, Steve, and Robin teaming up this season. Additionally, it looks like Maya Hawke’s real-life brother Levon Thurman-Hawke has joined the cast of a punk-type character.

Expect some more exciting famous faces to appear in season 4 too. The Duffer brothers told Deadline: “We have a couple of cool ones this past year. It is a very fun way to fulfill one of your icons… write a part to these and see if they want to do it.”

Considering that season 4 is a long away off, there’s no way we are going to be getting some more big plot details out of this Duffer Brothers and producer Shawn Levy any time soon. But what do have are theories and hints based on the conclusion of season 3… and David Harbour’s hint-laden Instagram accounts. Could Prisoner Hopper nevertheless make his way to the Upside Down at some point?

A ton more details will become clearer once we get some replies to those unanswered questions from season 3 but for now, here’s what we understand about the fourth season of Stranger Things.

Stranger Things Season 4 Release Date

No release date has been set, and it’s difficult to say when Stranger Things season 4 could premiere. The first two seasons were October affairs with year 3 taking a bit more time and eventually premiering on July 4, 2019.

A TV Line report on the number of Season 4 episodes also confirms that the shooting was initially set to commence in January, likely wrapping in August, but that was earlier production was shut down due to the coronavirus. As of October 2020, production has begun in the summer once more in Atlanta.

Stranger Things Season 4

Which cast members will return for Stranger Things season 4?

We will probably see the majority of our favorite cast members returning, ideally with some new faces. But given what occurs at the end of season 3, that the cast list will have a few big missing pieces when we return…

Noah Schnapp (Will), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Finn Wolfhard (Mike) and Sadie Sink (Max) will hopefully all return. Winona Ryder will also no doubt return as everybody’s favorite Stressed Mother ™ Joyce Byers.

Charlie Heaton, Natalia Dyer, and Joe Keery – whose personalities might likely be full-time faculty students – should all return too. Maya Hawke (Robin) may also both be returning for a year, along with Cara Buono who performs Karen Wheeler. Brett Gelman (Murray) and Priah Ferguson (Erica) are promoted to series regular so we’ll be seeing even more of Murray Bauman and Erica Sinclair in season 4.

After months of speculation and theories, David Harbour will soon be returning as Chief Hopper in year 4. In a brand new teaser trailer, Hopper could be seen working on a snowy field in Kamchatka, Russia. His head is shaved, his mustache has disappeared but he is alive.

And now for the sad news… Unless there are flashback scenes involved, Dacre Montgomery will probably not be returning, as Billy was murdered by the Mind-Flayer monster at the battle of Starcourt in the conclusion of season 3.

Stranger Things Season 4 Story Details

Netflix created the Stranger Things Season 4 statement back in September on Twitter with an extremely creepy little promo that teases the shadowy things coming to the show in season 4. The video also confirms that we’ll be heading away from Hawkins when the show does return. See the teaser under:

Immediately after the release of Stranger Things season 3 back in July 2019, the Duffer Brothers talked to EW about their plans for a prospective season 4. Ross Duffer stated:

Matt added that season 4 would”open a bit” by”allowing portals into areas outside of Hawkins.”
