Netflix announces release date for Zack Snyder’s “Army of the Dead”

Zack Snyder's “Army of the Dead”

May 21 is the date chosen by Netflix to premiere ‘ Army of the Dead’, the long-awaited return of Zack Snyder to the zombie cinema 17 years after ‘Dawn of the Dead’, his debut feature and the best film of his entire filmography.

Snyder himself has confirmed that the trailer will be released this coming Thursday, February 25, so it has aroused great interest in all his fans.

Netflix has also launched the first poster for ‘Army of the Dead’ – previously we had already seen several images of what awaits us – with a simple but quite successful design if we take into account the story that the film tells us.

What is “Army of the Dead” about?

The zombies have devastated the city of Las Vegas and a group of mercenaries decides to make the final bet and go into the quarantine zone to get all the riches left there.

Starring Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Ana de la Reguera, Garret Dillahunt, Raul Castillo, Omari Hardwick, Hiroyuki Sanada, Matthias Schweighöfer, and Tig Notaro, ‘Army of the Dead’ is shaping up to be one of Netflix’s most powerful premieres for this 2021.

Zack Snyder's “Army of the Dead”

As we anticipated in The Truth News, on March 18, Zack Snyder’s “Justice League” will also be released, a new montage of the DC superhero movie that I recognize that a priori interests me much less than ‘Army of the dead’,

“They had the whole robbery at a Las Vegas casino planned except the zombie apocalypse, oops. The movie ‘The Army of the Dead’, directed by Zack Snyder, arrives on May 21,” Netflix posted on Twitter.

For his part, Zack Snyder himself replied with another tweet in which he revealed that “the survivors get everything”, in addition to the fact that the first teaser can be seen this Thursday.
