All about the second season of Ginny and Georgia
Ginny and Georgia is Netflix’s newest hit. With many fans comparing it to Gilmore Girls, the attraction focuses on the relationship of mother and daughter who decide to start over.
In the series, teenage girl Ginny (Antonia Gentry), her younger brother Austin (Diesel La Torraca), and her 30-year-old mother Georgia (Brianne Howey) arrive in a new city. They swapping south for picturesque Massachusetts.
However, not every Wellsburian is permanently on the side of the family. Millers are met with skepticism – and in Ginny’s case, racism.
After marathoning the first season’s episodes, fans are curious to see if there will be more. So check out all the official information.
Renewal And Release Date
Ginny and Georgia premiered on Netflix on February 24, containing a 10-episode season. But so far, Netflix has yet to confirm a second season.
We need to point out that this is normal since Netflix takes a few weeks to confirm the renewal of its series. But given the good reception, we hope the series will return soon.
Given the production and recording schedule, which usually takes a year, we predict that the second season of Ginny and Georgia will debut on Netflix only between February and March 2022.

Spoilers: What Will Happen?
The first season covered A LOT of ground, but for each complication that was resolved, another one came quickly. With that, the series left practically all the main characters in open plots, after the end of the season.
The series ended with Ginny and Austin running away from Wellsbury on a motorcycle. Georgia’s daughter had reached the limit after the investigator hired by Kenny’s ex-wife ambushed her at the Blue Farm Café and said her mother was a murderer. He alerted Ginny to Georgia’s participation in the process, which she and her brother destroyed.
Austin had not yet forgiven Georgia for not sending the letters he had written to his father, and as a result, his relationship with his mother was at an all-time low.
Meanwhile, Georgia had no idea that her children had run away because she was busy celebrating the re-election of her fiance, Mayor Paul. She chose a life with him in Wellsbury over the Boston apartment. And with Kenny out of the picture – and her money problems solved (for now), she believed that the pieces of her new life were finally falling into place.
So we hope that the second season will continue where it left off, right in the middle of the action, with Ginny and Austin on the road. But will they decide to return home willingly or will Georgia go out to meet them, wherever they are?
The series does not go beyond Wellsbury, so it is a fact that they will be back.
