This week, CBS released a new episode of season 18 of the naval crime investigation drama NCIS, leaving many viewers devastated by the death of Emily, the daughter of Tobias Fornell ( Joe Spano ).
The CBS drama has been practicing at the top of the media for the last few weeks after the NCIS franchise canceled the spin-off NCIS: New Orleans with its seventh season.
However, with the announcement of the cancellation, NCIS fans were also informed that the network is working on a new series derived from the franchise called NCIS: Hawaii.

As all fans know, NCIS season 18 will feature a total of 16 episodes. A production cut compared to previous deliveries, due to the problem caused by blocking the pandemic and the costs involved in carrying out the works in the middle of the situation.
So far, having aired more than half of the episodes that make up the current season, CBS has not renewed NCIS for season 19. Although negotiations are underway, it appears that the drama will finally see the light of day for an upcoming installment.
In this sense, this Thursday the inclusion of a star was announced who will play a new agent who joins Leroy Gibbs’ team on NCIS, after the departure of Jack Sloane from Maria Bello with the eighth episode.
The NCIS franchise has just included the star Katrina Law, The former Hawaii Five-0 star will play NCIS REACT Special Agent Jessica Knight.
His character specializes in hostage negotiations. According to the post, Jessica will appear in the last two episodes of season 18, and she has the option to become a regular character if NCIS is renewed for season 19.
