For several months in 2020, fans eagerly awaited the premiere of their favorite series Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD, until NBC confirmed that the premiere date was set for November 11, 2020.
Following the airing of the first two episodes of their respective seasons, each of the sister series Chicago Med, Fire and PD went on a long hiatus until early January 2021.
Since then, a few short breaks have interrupted the sequential airing of the episodes of each drama due to production delays related to the pandemic, making the current seasons unpredictable.
And is that due to the same uncertainty resulting from the breaks and how difficult it has been to maintain the sequential programming of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD, many fans have wondered when the current seasons would end.
Some think that the current seasons could last longer than usual since everything could depend on the course of the pandemic that is affecting the world. Well, for Chicago Med, Fire, and PD this is not the case.
While NBC has not directly and officially confirmed the end dates of each drama’s seasons, that current installments of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD will conclude on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.
However, NBC must also confirm the exact number of episodes that the seasons of the sister series trilogy will have, which had been initially estimated between 16 and 20, that is, shorter installments compared to previous years.
