Sky Rojo Season 2

Alex Pina’s newest Netflix Original net series Sky Rojo has fully launched on Netflix and will turn out to be back for a second season. This series is marked as the most ambitious project in Spain; it follows the story of three chicas who have attempted to escape out of their old life at a club like the prostitutes for their liberation, which their bosses tail.

It’s confirmed that when Netflix has commissioned the show then it has done with both first period orders in November 2019. It’s quite common for Netflix to commission the jobs for multiple seasons in advance. It is assumed that it will take place since the series was created as a two-season series allowing it to finish the story.

Sky Rojo season 2 release date

Fantastic news: Sky Rojo will be receiving another season on Netflix, as the streaming agency commissioned both installments at once with its first order.

It is a powerful show of faith in the vision of creators Álex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato, that have worked with all the international mega-hit Money Heist.

Sky Rojo season two doesn’t have a confirmed release date just yet, but most scripted dramas tend to follow a roughly annual production cycle.

If Sky Rojo is consistent with this trend, we could observe the second season debut in early 2022, but that this can be partly dependent on how the COVID-19 pandemic develops within the next year.

Filming on the very first season was stopped midway through creation because the illness started spreading across Europe, but it’s hoped this can be prevented in the future with assistance from a continuing vaccine rollout.

What to expect from Sky Rojo season 2

Caution: spoilers follow for season 1 episode 8 — Bear Trap

OK, let’s place the chessboard to determine where the pieces landed by the end of season 1.

In the conclusion of season 1, Coral is observed attempting to save Romeo’s life after he seems to have a cardiac arrest after almost becoming a sword through his head. The main reason she is there’s to escape the passports and cash in the safe that is preventing their freedom.

After doing CPR, Romeo awakes and begins to strangle Coral. Cut to credits.

Miguel Ángel Silvestre, that performs Moses is in a bit of a predicament. After the plan lures him into the pit dug out by the digger, he’s stuck in his car (last scene with his shirt over his face inclined to assist with breathing) and buried in the building lot. His return will most likely depend on whether his brother, Christian can come and dig him out.

In his last-ditch attempt to escape the vehicle, he’s seen shooting Wendy who currently has a bullet wound and that will likely lead to season two’s plot early on trying to receive her medical attention (the vet is most likely going to get another unannounced home visit!)

This is to say the back-and-forth involving the guys and the women will surely continue into season two.
