Finally, if all goes well. Indeed, a month later, according to a statement written by a spokesperson for Disney, the main actor was seriously injured, to such an extent that the shooting was voluntarily stopped. It was in the shoulder that the archaeologist was hit: “During the rehearsal of a fight scene, Harrison Ford injured his shoulder”, can we read in the press release. A Harrison Ford, a fan of injuries
No further details have yet been communicated on the actor’s state of health or injury. But this is not the first time that Harrison Ford has played acrobats. In fact, in 2014, he was injured during the filming of The force awakens. Result: a broken leg after being struck by a hydraulic door. On the strength of his previous painful experiences, the world’s most famous archaeologist should get back on his feet quickly.
Since 1981, Harrison Ford has played the role of Indiana Jones. The first chapter, called Raiders of the Lost Ark had been such a success that two other episodes had been made: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, in 1984, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, in 1989. Twenty years later, the fourth part of the saga was disappointing. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull had not won over fans who are therefore impatiently awaiting the return of their hero (with both shoulders) soon in theaters.
