The secret of their downfall, however, is their shining golden heart. Kabane commandeered a hayajiro, which crashed in Aragane Station, where Ikoma, a daring young engineer, utilised his invention, a piercing pistol, as an anti-kabane weapon against kabane. During the conflict, he is infected by the virus and changes into a human kabane- Kabaneri. Later, for survival, seek assistance from other characters in the story.

What we know about so far

Season one was a huge success for the producers in terms of both cash and popularity among anime fans. The plot centres around the industrial revolution, Kabanes, and powerful warriors. If you haven’t seen season 1 yet, you may watch the English dubbed episodes on Funimation, while the original series is accessible on Amazon Prime and Crunchyroll.

Final Thoughts

Because it is the most popular animated series, fans are eagerly anticipating its sequel. However, given that this series is based on Ichiro Okouchi’s 100% original animation, there are very slim prospects. There is a dispute over the source material because it is not based on a novel. There have been rumours, which has led to a low expectation for the upcoming season, but the positive reviews have given rise to optimism for a return season.
