10 great Rebecca Ferguson movies and where to watch them

While some actors adhere to one or two specific genres, others will move from one genre to another, from big action franchises to musicals and dramas. In the latter category is Rebecca Ferguson, an actress who has progressed in some of the greatest films to date, such as the Mission: Impossible franchise, The Greatest Showman and more.

Beginning her career in the Swedish television industry and moving to Hollywood latr in life, Rebecca Ferguson is becoming one of the most recognizable faces in cinema for how many films she has made. From epic movies like Dune to modern musicals. Stand up, Ferguson has done it all, and he will surely just keep doing more. This is where you can watch some of the best Rebecca Ferguson movies that are streaming or available for rent right now.

The Greatest Showman (2017)

If you’re looking for an epic musical, be sure to check out The Greatest Showman. The film follows the story of PT Barnum and his group of strange performers as they put together what would later be called one of the greatest shows on Earth, showing how to accept your differences and turn them into something better. .

Rebecca Ferguson plays Jenny Lind in The Greatest Showman, and while she doesn’t use her real singing voice for the role, there’s something in her performance that makes me smile every time I look at her. It perfectly captures that grace that a singer like Jenny Lind would have and has a smile that any man (or woman) would love. The whole cast of The Greatest Showman is talented, but I especially love Ferguson. Also, the music is very catchy.

Come on, Tom Cruise, because Rebecca Ferguson is making great strides in the Mission: Impossible franchise. In this classic action series, Mission: Impossible follows Ethan Hunt, who is an agent of the Impossible Missions Force, and often experiences dangerous, death-defying, and thrilling adventures.

Since 2015, Ferguson has appeared in two Mission films: Impossible so far, Rogue Nation and Fallout, but is already scheduled to appear in the next two entries in the series as well. His character, Ilsa Faust, is a bad MI6 agent and works with the character of Tom Cruise, and honestly, I could see them hitting people any day. I wish we could see her in more action roles like this because Rebecca Ferguson has a damn punch. I can’t wait until the next movie Mission: Impossible just to see it instead of Tom Cruise.

Florence Foster Jenkins (2016)

In this biographical film, Florence Foster Jenkins tells the story of the title character, Florence, who is a New York heiress known for her absolutely horrible singing, but is one of the sweetest women in the world. When his dreams are cut short at a young age, he is in charge of doing so in some way in this world.

This movie is a delight, even, and that’s partly thanks to the brilliant cast. Rebecca Ferguson plays Kathleen Weatherley, a mistress of one of the characters, and her performance in her role is not only brilliantly done, but her scenes with the protagonist, Meryl Streep, are some of the best in the movie. Another thing I like about this movie is the costume design, as it really looks like we were transported back in time to the 1940s. Definitely a great movie to see if you haven’t already.

Life (2017)

In this fantastic sci-fi horror film, Life follows a group of astronauts who are among the first to discover life on Mars, but this discovery soon leads to their doom, as there are dark entities. that they don’t want them there.

I know Life received mixed reviews, but I love this movie, especially for its amazing cast, Rebecca Ferguson plays one of the astronauts, and her chemistry blends so well with the rest of the actors. And let’s talk for a second about the casting: Life has such a small cast, but they all have a lot of talent, with names like Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal and more. I think it’s as effective for a horror movie cast to be as small as it really shows her talent, and that’s exactly what Rebecca Ferguson has to do in this movie.

The Girl on the Train (2016)

Then we have an exciting psychological thriller called The Girl on the Train. In this film, a divorcee who has had a difficult time in her life finds herself in the middle of a search for a missing person and turns her normal world upside down, changing it forever.

Tell you what, Rebecca Ferguson can do anything. From the moment she steps on the screen in this movie, she’s electric in her role as Anna, and her scenes with Emily Blunt’s character Rachel are full of so much tension that I’m on the verge of my I sit down every time I watch this movie. While I think there are some moments that could have been better executed from the novel, I think it’s an exciting film that will amuse anyone who is a fan of the genre, and who wants to see Rebecca Ferguson do their role.

Hercules (2014)

Next, we have Hercules. In this adaptation of the famous Greek myth, the titular character is in charge of the definitive test of his skills with the sword, when the king of Thrace and his daughter ask for his help to somehow defeat his evil competitors .

You know, for some reason, seeing Rebecca Ferguson as a princess fits in really well. Again, she only has that aura of grace that is perfect for a role like Ergenia, and she does it perfectly. And do you want to talk about punctual casting? Dwayne Johnson as Hercules. I mean, what other Hollywood actor could play that famous role? Maybe Chris Hemsworth, in my opinion, but I don’t think anyone can win Rock for this character. It is not the most accurate portrait of Greek mythology, but it is a good time.

Doctor Sleep (2019)

Stephen King knows how to write stories, and Doctor Sleep is the perfect example. In this sequel to The Shining, we follow Dan Torrance. After forty years, Torrance is an adult and now has to deal with his own problems, specifically the problems of worship. When he discovers that a girl has powers that remind her of his own, it is up to him to try to save her from the cult, which persecutes her.

This is definitely one of my favorite performances of Rebecca Ferguson, because she wears it as a cult leader. I didn’t think I could be afraid of her, but here I am, trembling with my boots. The whole movie itself is well thought out and terrifying from start to finish with brilliant performances from the entire cast. Stephen King is a master of horror and Doctor Sleep only adds to that fact. If you are a fan of amazing horror movies, take a look at this one.

The boy who would be king (2019)

In this fantasy film based on the Arthurian legend, The Kid Who Would Be King follows a boy who embarks on a fantastic adventure of witchcraft and magic. Here he finds Excalibur, the sword that was once King Arthur’s main weapon. But when she finds this weapon, she wakes up Morgana, an evil witch who wants to become all-powerful. Now, it is up to the boy, his friends and the help of a couple of allies to try to stop his brazen plan.

Once again, Rebecca Ferguson is such a brilliant actress and plays the role of a villain so well that I look forward to seeing her in more parts of acting like this. Her portrayal of Morgana is not only beautiful, but also terrifying, especially when Morgana becomes some monstrous form later in the film. It’s a shame this movie went so badly at the box office because it was a really good time to see it, and I’d love to see it again as someone who likes King Arthur’s adaptations.

Dune (2021)

The last movie we have to talk about here is Dune from 2021. In this adaptation of the novel of the same name, Dune follows Paul Atreides and his family, who are suddenly pushed into a universal war when they have to travel to one of the most dangerous planets in the universe to keep the future alive in some way. he cares more.

Although the film only covers the first half of the original book, Dune is as epic in science fiction as you can get. The entire cast of Dune is very talented, but Rebecca Ferguson is amazing in her role as Paul’s mother and she gets along well as one of the main women in this film, and I personally love that much of the film. Film is your relationship with your child. (played by Timothee Chalamet), as their relationship was one of the most complex in the film and very entertaining to follow. For those who haven’t seen Dune yet, what are you waiting for?

Extra element: The white queen (miniseries – 2013)

While this is not a movie, it is a worthy entry on this list. The White Queen is a miniseries set during the Rose Wars, between two noble houses, the House of Lancaster and the House of York. We follow three women, who use their beauty, charm and skills to somehow manipulate people backstage to gain power.

Rebecca Ferguson shines in this role. Again, I think she has that perfect aura of beauty and grace to play a princess, but she as a queen is something else, and I can’t think of a better actress to portray the White Queen as the protagonist of this film. Film. The costume design is brilliant, the performance phenomenal and the story exciting from start to finish. I know it’s not a quick two-hour movie to watch, but this miniseries is something else and you should watch it.

Play The White Queen on Starz.

Rebecca Ferguson is really a master of her craft and I think it won’t be long before we see her again in another major film as one of her stars. Now I just have to wait for the next movie Mission: Impossible to see again. And hopefully now, you may have noticed how amazing she is too.
