Carnival Row Season 2 Release Date

Carnival Row Season 2 Release Date: Carnival Row, an Amazon Prime Video fantasy series, turned out to be one of the service’s underappreciated jewels.

The steampunk TV series starring Cara Delevingne and Orlando Bloom began in August 2019 with eight episodes, introducing us to a gloomy Victorian-style dystopian planet broken by war and species split, but based on the ending, it’s evident that the epic story is far from over.

Carnival Row has been renewed for a second season, and fans are eager to see when it will be available on Amazon Prime.

What We Can Expect Storyline of Carnival Row Season 2?

Carnival Row Season 2 Release Date

The official storyline for Carnival Row Season 2 has yet to be released by Amazon Prime Video; but, based on the finale of Season 1, we can expect to learn more about segregation. The government ordered a segregation scheme to separate the magical creatures from the rest of the population in the final episode of Season 1.

Knowing that he would be separated from Vignette, Philo realized that he, too, is a half-magical creature and resolved to join her in the ghetto. In the Season 1 conclusion, Agreus and Imogen sailed away to a safer location. However, when the authorities ordered their ship to return, they resisted.

Imogen’s actress Tazmin Merchant hinted at what’s in store for her and Agreus in Season 2.

“Imogen and Agreus board the ship at the end of season one, and everything is wonderful for the first five minutes of season two,” the actress told Entertainment Weekly. “Then everything goes horribly wrong for them.”

Season 2 is anticipated to see the couple embark on a more exciting journey, but there will be challenges. Hopefully, this plot will converge with Philo and Vignettes in the future.

Season 1 of Carnival Row was action-packed with blood, love, and battle, and season 2 promises to boost the ante with even more combat and romance.

Season 2 will ideally go more in-depth and explain Burgue’s and Tirnanoc’s histories and everything in between, as the first season was more of an introduction to the Carnival Row universe and its continuous struggles.

Fans may expect to see fresh faces, however numerous stars from the previous season will return, according to reports. Tamzin Merchant, David Gyasi, Caroline Ford, and Andrew Gower will join Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingn in reprising their starring roles.

Season 1 finished with the shaky boat between humans and faes eventually breaking over, which set the tone for season 2. Outside of Burgue, numerous characters take sail for other countries in the hopes of introducing us to a bigger universe.

How Many Episodes Will Be of Carnival Row Season 2?

Carnival Row Season 2 Release Date

Carnival Row Season 2 Release Date

Carnival Row Season 2 isn’t on the list of new movies and TV episodes coming to Amazon Prime Video in May 2022, unfortunately.

Amazon Prime Video hasn’t set a release date for Carnival Row Season 2 as of this writing. After concluding filming on the first season, it took over 17 months for it to get on Netflix, so we may expect Carnival Row Season 2 to premiere in early 2022.

Despite the fact that filming for the next season has already begun, Season 2 is unlikely to be released within the next several weeks.

There will be a significant amount of CGI work to be done, which will most likely take months to finish. It’s not out of the question that Amazon will debut the series in the second half of 2022 or expected in December 2022.

Amazon intends to release the first five completed episodes of the second season first, followed by the last four as production progresses.

Where You Can Watch Carnival Row Season 2?

Carnival Row Season 2 will be available to stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, not on Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, Disney+, Paramount+, or any other streaming provider. An Amazon Prime Video subscription currently costs $14.99 per month. Unfortunately, none of the future season’s episodes will be released theatrically. Season 1 is now available to watch on Netflix.

Conclusion

Season 1 of Carnival Row was action-packed with blood, love, and battle, and season 2 promises to boost the ante with even more combat and romance. Season 2 will hopefully go more in-depth and explain Burgue’s and Tirnanoc’s history and everything in between, as the first season was more of an introduction to the Carnival Row universe and its continuous battles.

We can breathe easy knowing that all eight episodes of the upcoming season have been shot, but when can we expect them to be released? The show’s release date is currently unknown. The first season was released a year after production ended, however, season 2 has been in the works for quite some time.
