Dragons The Nine Realms Season 3 Release Date

Dragons The Nine Realms Season 3 Release Date: DreamWorks Dragons: The Nine Realms is an American computer-animated streaming television series based on the How to Train Your Dragon franchise that was produced by DreamWorks Animation for Peacock and Hulu.

The series takes place 1,300 years after the events of The Hidden World in the current world. It follows a group of misfit kids who are brought to a massive rift produced by a comet by their parents and discover the truth about dragons and where they’ve been hiding.

Dragons The Nine Realms Season 3 Storyline

Exploring a New Section of The Hidden World

Because Tom and his friends are now exploring a new section of the hidden world with their dragons (hence why the series is called the nine realms), they may end up discovering the original entrance to the Hidden World that Hiccup and Astrid discovered, which could lead them to the ruins of New Berk, where Tom discovers he is Hiccup and Astrid’s descendant and Thunder is Toothless’ descendant.

Because the Dragon Club Riders are venturing deeper into the Hidden World, as well as the fact that Alex’s tablet, which she used to track their location and that of other dragons, was destroyed, there’s a good chance they won’t be able to find their way back before the end of the day, leading to my next theory.

Find Drawings of Unicorn Dragons

Dragons The Nine Realms Season 3 Release Date

Eugene Wong (Jun’s brother) was trying unsuccessfully to gain access to her computer in order to find out where she was, and he discovered her notebook, which contained drawings of Unicorn Dragons, The Fault Ripper, and Thunder, which he rejected.

Given Jun’s attempt to smuggle a Unicorn Dragon named Nibbles back home, it’s probable she saved records or even photographs of the Club’s dragons in her computer, which her brother may eventually decrypt after the next scenario below.

Will Fault Ripper Return?

After creating many earthquakes, the Fault Ripper reappears and assaults ICARIS head-on.

There’s a good likelihood the Fault Ripper will return, based on Tom’s dream about it in the first episode of season 2 and the fact that it vanished without a trace at the end of season 1.

Eugene Wong recognizes it from Jun’s drawings after the entire ICARIS staff sees it and, potentially with the help of some of the parents, locates Jun’s perspective photographs and logs concerning Dragon Club that she and possibly Alex discreetly preserved just in case.

Find A Dragon To Ride

Following the potential revelation of the Dragons to the parents via Jun’s records, Olivia Kullerson (Tom’s mother) deduces that this was the secret Tom wanted to tell her and recognizes an image of Thunder and the creature she saw flying down in the Fissure during the Fault Ripper Attack at the end of Season 1.

She and maybe Philip Baker discovers a tunnel leading to the Hidden World, either by exploring it or by using a map Alex created and left on Jun’s computer, and eventually find a dragon they can both ride.

Olivia, who could be a descendent of Hiccup and Astrid, trains the dragon, which could be a tracker class one, and begins her quest for Tom and the others, but they have no idea that Wilma Sledkin is following them, hoping to exploit the dragons for her own advantage.

Dragons The Nine Realms Season 2 Recap

The second series of the critically acclaimed How to Train Your Dragon film trilogy is called Dragons: The Nine Realms. While How to Train Your Dragon focused on the bond between Vikings and dragons, The Nine Realms is a whole other story.

A group of children is led to a mysterious fissure that emerged when a comet fell into the planet 1,300 years after the events of How to Train Your Dragon. While their parents strive to figure out what’s behind the crack, the kids meet and befriend a bunch of dragons!

What Had Season 2 Portrayed?

Dragons The Nine Realms Season 3 Release Date

Season 2 appears to be delving deeper into some mysteries, whereas Season 1 was an introduction to the kids, Project ICARIS, and the new dragons. Thunder, the black and white dragon who carries Tom, is obviously a descendant of Toothless.

In the first season, we also find that Tom is of Viking descent. Is this to imply that their friendship is more than a happy accident? We also get to see several familiar-looking dragons in the teaser, but only to those who have seen the other How to Train Your Dragon series like Dragons: Riders of Berk, Dragons: Defenders of Berk, and Dragons: Race to the Edge.

Perhaps we’ll see a few more throwbacks to the characters we all fell in love with throughout the original trilogy if the producers are prepared to inject these types of clues!
