Childhood and Adolescence
Robert James Reid Was Born in Sydney, Australia, on May 11, 1993, to Robert Malcolm Reid and Marcela Calicdan. His Father Is from Australia, and His Mother Is from The Philippines. James Was One of Seven Children, Including Four Brothers and Three Sisters.
Because of His Mother’s Experience as A Small-Time Singer, James Developed an Interest in Singing as A Child. He Began Studying Music at A Young Age and Progressed to Become a Competent Singer Before Becoming Famous.
However, there was a problem in the house. His parents divorced when he was two years old, and for the first few years of his childhood, he remained in Australia, residing in Mosman on Sydney’s North Shore.
His father felt compelled to travel to the Philippines when he was 15, and he brought James with him. It was in this Asian country that James first realised he needed to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
To say the least, his early years in the Philippines were rough. He didn’t speak the native language, and the majority of the people there didn’t speak English.
He also had a hard time adjusting to the significant shift in social skills and academic routine. James was quite active in gymnastics and swimming in Australia. However, as soon as he arrived in the Philippines, both of his emotions began to fade.
He began attending the ‘Makati Science High School,’ but after only a few months there, he found it impossible to continue. His father subsequently enrolled him in the ‘Karabar High School Distance Education Centre,’ an Australian distance-learning educational system based in Karabar, New South Wales.
For a long time, James Reid was supposed to be dating Nadine Lustre, his co-star in many films and shows. In early 2016, the couple announced their relationship.
WHO IS THAT PERSON? James Reid’s fans respond to the kissing video.
Celebrity rumour websites were ablaze with videos and photographs of actor-singer James Reid kissing his male pal James Thomas at his birthday celebration.
Some internet users interpreted the kissing videos and images in a negative light, claiming that the actor is in a gay relationship.
I apologise for disappointing the “Marites.”
According to confidants and fans of the actor, the two James are just close pals and business colleagues.
The following is the whole explanation of what transpired during the actor’s birthday party, as posted on REIDERS Facebook on May 14:
“This has over 1 million views and a 3 million reach!”
“We’re delighted that you’re happy for his “new romance,” but unfortunately, #JaJa is not true.
“James Thomas and James Reid have been friends for a long time, and he is also his business partner at Brooklyn Industries Group, Pop Up Katipunan, and Notorious Concepts.
On the show ‘Pinoy Big Brother,’ he was announced as one of the “international” roommates in April 2010. He was set to turn 17 at the moment, and his housemates celebrated his birthday inside the house. However, because he was the only housemate with Filipino blood running through his veins, he remained a divisive figure in the house. This sparked a slew of plots to kick him out of the house.
He went to the doctor after complaining of chest pain and shortness of breath in May 2010. This occurred once again in June. It appeared like his days in the house had come to an end both times. He had a small ache in his chest the first time, but no significant consequences.
The second time, though, it was considerably more dangerous, as a hole in his lungs was discovered. He was told he needed to wear an oxygen tube for a time and that he should leave the house, but he refused.
He and his partner, Nadine Lustre, co-starred in the film ‘This Time’ in 2016. The official box office receipts for the film were never revealed, but it was reported that it made more than 100 million PHP.
James and Nadine revealed in June 2016 that they would be making a TV comeback together with the series “Till I Met You.” In March of this year, James announced the release of his third studio album, ‘Palm Dreams.’ The CD was a local success with nine tunes. In late 2018, James will participate in a superhero film based on the Filipino comic book character ‘Pedro Penduko.’
