6 Pixer Movies Worth Watch (2022-2018): Pixar has created films that touch on the human experience in the most unexpected and stunning ways since the debut of Toy Story in 1995.

2. Turning Red (2022)
Turning Red is a computer-animated fantasy comedy film released in 2022 by Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
It follows Meilin “Mei” Lee, a 13-year-old Chinese-Canadian student who, according to a family curse, changes into a big red panda whenever she experiences any powerful emotion in Toronto, Ontario in 2002.
The film began development in 2018 after Shi submitted it to Pixar in October 2017. It was inspired by Shi’s experiences growing up in Toronto. It’s the first Pixar picture directed exclusively by a woman, and the second with an Asian protagonist (after Up, 2009).
Turning Red had special screenings on February 21, 2022, at Everyman Borough Yards in London, and March 8, 2022, at TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto.
On March 1, it had its world premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles, and on March 11, it was distributed on the Disney+ streaming service and in select cinemas.
In most regions, it was distributed in theatres sans Disney+. It earned $18.8 million outside of the United States and Canada and garnered positive reviews.

3. Luca (2021)
Luca is a computer-animated coming-of-age fantasy film released in 2021 in the United States by Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
Enrico Casarosa (in his feature directorial debut) and Andrea Warren produced the picture, which had a screenplay by Jesse Andrews and Mike Jones and a narrative by Casarosa, Andrews, and Simon Stephenson.
Critics praised the film’s aesthetics, voice acting, and nostalgic vibe, and it earned mostly excellent reviews. With almost 10.6 billion minutes watched, it was also the most-watched streaming movie of 2021.
The film was nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 94th Academy Awards but lost to Encanto (2021). Ciao Alberto, a short film starring Alberto, was released on Disney+ on November 12, 2021.

4. Onward (2020)
Onward is a computer-animated urban fantasy adventure film released by Walt Disney Pictures in 2020. It was developed by Pixar Animation Studios.
The film is set in a suburban fantasy world and follows two elf brothers named Ian and Barley Lightfoot as they go on a quest to acquire an artifact that would bring their deceased father back to life for 24 hours before it’s too late.
The death of Scanlon’s father in a car accident while Scanlon and his older brother were very small children inspired the concept of Onward. In July 2017, the film was unveiled during the D23 Expo.
Onward had its world premiere on February 21, 2020, at the 70th Berlin International Film Festival, and was distributed in theatres in the United States on March 6, 2020.
Although the picture received strong critical reviews, it disappointed the box office, collecting only $141 million worldwide.

5. Toy Story 4 (2019)
Toy Story 4 is a 2019 American computer-animated comedy-drama film released by Walt Disney Pictures and produced by Pixar Animation Studios. It is the fourth film in the Toy Story franchise and the sequel to Toy Story 3. (2010).
Toy Story 4 had its world premiere on June 11, 2019, in Los Angeles, and was released on June 21, 2019, in the United States. It earned $1.073 billion globally, making it the seventh highest-grossing film of the year.
The film gained critical acclaim, with praise for its tale, humor, emotional weight, musical soundtrack, animation, and vocal performances, just like its predecessors. At the 92nd Academy Prizes, the film was nominated for two awards, winning Best Animated Feature and receiving other honors.

Incredibles 2 is a 2018 American computer-animated superhero film directed by Brad Bird and produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures.
It is the sequel to The Incredibles (2004) and the franchise’s second full-length film, written and directed by Brad Bird.
The Incredibles attempt to reestablish public trust in superheroes while managing their family life, only to be confronted by a new villain who intends to turn the public against all superheroes.
Following the popularity of The Incredibles, Bird decided to put the sequel on hold in order to focus on other projects. He tried to set the script apart from other superhero films and television shows that have come out since the original film by focusing on the family dynamic rather than the superhero category.
