Is Mira the Killer in The End of The Girl on The Train?

girl on the train spoilers

Mira’s investigation into Nusrat’s murder leads her to Walter’s house, where she confronts Shekhar, her ex-husband. Mira doesn’t waste any time and knocks him out with a strike to the head as she waits for someone else to arrive.

Mira moves to the next room, where she searches for information about the car that murdered Walter. Jimmy Bagga, the thug she arrested, turns out to be the owner of the car. He is no longer alive, and in an unexpected turn of events, it is discovered that the officer investigating Nusrat’s case is Jimmy Bagga’s daughter, Dalbeer Kaur Bagga.

Mira recalls some of the events of the night she witnessed someone chase Nusrat through the bush. Dalbeer reveals that she came to the woodland chasing Mira, as evidenced by the photos in the chamber. She spotted her lying on the ground and was about to strangle her to death when Nusrat appears out of nowhere and sees her.

Dalbeer murders Nusrat because he realizes there is only one way out of the dilemma. But this isn’t the first time Dalbeer has attempted to murder someone. She is, in reality, the one who collided with Shekhar and Mira’s car. She tries to destroy Mira, who fought the case against her father and placed him in jail, since she wants to avenge her father’s murder, but Mira survives the accident.

When Dalbeer assassinates Nusrat, she understands that this is the ideal time to frame Mira. The strategy appears to be ideal because there is evidence of Mira’s presence at the murder scene.

Surprisingly, Mira admits that she was aware that Walter’s murderer had her phone. So, in order to catch the murderer red-handed, Mira sends messages to Walter’s house, which leads to Dalbeer’s arrival. Mira, who is one step ahead of Dalbeer, accidentally kills her in their struggle for the rifle.

Mira places the gun in Shekhar’s hand, who is comatose, now that Dalbeer is dead. In the end, it’s crucial to investigate Mira’s conduct because she blames Dalbeer’s death on Shekhar, who didn’t even know her. Despite the fact that Shekhar is not a trustworthy or decent man, Mira is not right in making him pay for a crime he did not commit.
