Lisa Deshaun Leslie (born July 7, 1972) is a former professional basketball player from the United States. She is presently the head coach of the Triplets in the BIG3 professional basketball league and a studio commentator for Fox Sports Florida’s Orlando Magic broadcasts.
Leslie was a member of the National Basketball Association’s Women’s Division (WNBA). She is a four-time Olympic gold medalist and three-time WNBA MVP.
She was the seventh overall choice in the 1997 WNBA draught, and she went on to win eight WNBA All-Star honours and two WNBA titles with the Los Angeles Sparks over the course of 11 seasons with the team before retiring in 2009.
Leslie was the first player in the WNBA to dunk. She was named one of the Top 15 players in WNBA history by fans in 2011. Leslie competed for USA Basketball in international competition throughout her WNBA career, capturing four Olympic gold medals (1996, 2000, 2004, 2008) and two FIBA World Championships (1998, 2002).
Leslie was inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame and the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015.

In 2010, Leslie gave birth to her second child.
Leslie is a devout Christian as well. She talked up about her beliefs in an interview, saying: “I was constantly putting my faith and objectives in the Lord’s name as a devout child.
That was usually one of the most helpful things for me. I’ve always wanted to help Him achieve His goals. That, I believe, has been the saving grace for me. You must take a leap of faith [and trust God] when you have faith.”
Leslie was interviewed by Gayle King on February 4, 2020, about her bond with Kobe Bryant. Leslie was asked about Bryant’s sexual assault case in 2003 during the interview. Leslie retorted that the claims were unrelated to the individual she knew.
Leslie is now a realtor and the co-founder of Aston Rose, a sports and entertainment real estate agency.
