Liam Payne was born on August 29, 1993, to Karen and Geoff Payne in Wolverhampton, England. While his father was a fitter, his mother was a nurse who cared for infants. He was raised with Nicola and Ruth, his two older sisters.

Due to kidney problems, Payne was frequently ill as a small child and spent a lot of time in the hospital. Payne took part in a variety of activities and enjoyed cross-country running while he was in school.

Payne’s initial campaign for the group in 2013 brought in $784,198. During his 2015 election campaign, he also raised an extra $211,237. Payne has also been designated as an ambassador for the Global Goals initiative and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Payne also provided “The Youth Zone,” a £6 million youth project in his hometown of Wolverhampton, a much-needed boost.

In 2018, he put the approximately 5-acre estate up for sale for $14 million. He reduced the price many times until settling on $10.2 million in January 2021. Halsey, a fellow musician, purchased it.
