Genshin Impact 2.1 update release date, free 5-star character, new banners and more

As of September 1, gamers will have plenty of time to prepare for Genshin Impact 2.1’s release. The 5-star Electro Polearm Raiden Shogun and the 4-star Electro bow-wielding Kujou Sara, both powerful Electro characters to add to a team, will be featured on the first banner to be released.

In the second banner, Kokomi Sangonomiya, a 5-star Hydro catalyst character, will appear. When these banners are released in Genshin Impact 2.1, they’ll be worth summoning on.

A free 5-star character from Horizon Zero Dawn, Aloy, will appear in a crossover event in Genshin Impact 2.1. Aloy will only be available for a short period of time, and PlayStation owners will get her first.

PlayStation users will be able to claim Aloy through their in-game mail after the release of Genshin Impact 2.1, but players on other platforms will have to wait until the release of Genshin Impact 2.2 before they can do so.

The Release Dates of The Upcoming Weapon Banners:

In Genshin Impact 2.1, the new 5-star spear weapon, Engulfing Lightning, is expected to be the first weapon banner to be released. The Raiden Shogun will benefit greatly from this powerful spear, which has an Energy Recharge substrate and a potent passive ability:

Energy Recharge boosted ATK by 28 percent over the base 100%. This can provide a bonus ATK of up to 80%. It takes 12 seconds after casting an Elemental Burst for Energy Recharge to be boosted by 30% for the duration of the spell.

The Fumetsu Gekka, a weapon best suited for Kokomi, is expected to be featured in the second weapon banner. Passive: Increases Healing Bonus and Normal Attack DMG by a percentage of the wielder’s Max HP.

Many gamers are eagerly awaiting Genshin Impact 2.1, which is expected to include some fantastic banners and even a free 5-star character. Fans won’t have to wait much longer now that it’s almost here.
