No Caller Id: How To Unmask Blocked/unknown Calls ios & Android?

No Caller Id

There is no denying that calls with no Caller ID are the worst. Whether you’ve just received your first No Caller ID call or you’ve been receiving a steady stream of them, each one is an annoyance because you have no idea who is calling or why.

It’s okay to vent; you’re not the only one who’s ever felt that way. However, there is a way out. TrapCall allows you to see through No Caller ID’s veil and identify the true caller.

That includes their name, phone number, and physical location. In addition, TrapCall allows you to blacklist the unmasked number, making it impossible for the caller to call you again.

What Is a “no Caller Id” Call?

No Caller Id

Simply put, a No Caller ID call is a regular phone call where the caller’s information has been removed on purpose. These are also referred to as unsolicited calls or cold calls.

The caller ID for a blocked call on an iPhone will read “No Caller ID,” but other phones may use a different term.

If you want to make a call without the recipient seeing your caller ID, one common method is to dial *67 before the number you want to call. Usually, the person calling you does not want to be traced, so they use this method.

Furthermore, telemarketers hide behind No Caller ID when they don’t want to risk being reported for spamming people.

They believe they can avoid detection by the police because the targets of their prank calls will be unable to check their caller ID or respond in kind.

Spoofing or blocking numbers is another common method of attempting to steal victims’ personal information, financial resources, or time.
