How This Apple Patent May Have Led to The Notch Being Almost Removed In I Phone 14!

The number of new iPhone models to choose from has been increasing each year. During its September 2021 event, Apple introduced four handsets within its iPhone 13 range.

This comprised the entry-level iPhone 13 small, the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Pro, and the premium iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Each phone has been intended to appeal to a different type of user, and they come in a range of sizes and costs. The iPhone 13 occupies the space in the center, giving amazing, high-end specifications and craftsmanship without paying a very high-end price.

We recently tested the iPhone 13 to evaluate how well it performs against a range of ordinary chores, as well as more strenuous activities like gaming, streaming, and remote working.

We put Apple’s battery life claims to the test, put its new camera technology through its paces, and checked out the new features of iOS 15 to see whether the iPhone 13 is the best new iPhone, or if it’s worth investing elsewhere.

Design: Apple Sticks with Tradition

As with everything Apple manufactures, the iPhone 13 is a well-designed smartphone that looks and feels strong and elegant.

It comes with the same metal frame and strengthened glass back seen on the iPhone 12. The 6.1-inch display is coated in a form of glass known as Ceramic Shield, which Apple claims deliver four times the protection of competing for smartphone glass, and the handset measures 5.78 x 2.82 inches.

These characteristics are all identical to the iPhone 12. The iPhone 13 is 0.1-inch thicker, which is complemented by the iPhone 13’s increased weight 6.1 ounces up from 5.73 ounces.

Despite these increases, the iPhone 13 remains comfortable to handle and easy to operate one-handed. The display size means the on-screen keyboard is not clunky, as is the case with the smaller iPhone 13 mini, and it’s large enough to watch TV shows and films.

Although it’s perfectly adequate for playing simpler games, this screen may be too cramped for titles with more complex menu systems, such as Minecraft or Fortnite.

If you’re going to ditch your tablet or television in favor of this phone’s screen, you might be disappointed by its size and the strain it puts on your eyes.

With the notch, a tiny, rounded black protrusion at the top of the screen where the FaceID sensor is housed the display area is significantly reduced. Even yet, the notch is now 20% narrower than it was on the iPhone 12.

The power button is on the upper right, across from the volume controls on the left, and the Lightning charging port can be found between the two sets of speakers on the bottom of the device.

The iPhone 13 can be charged in a variety of different ways, including by Lightning cable, any Qi-compatible wireless charging plate, or Apple’s own MagSafe charging plate.

The circular magnet installed behind the phone’s rear glass provides the power for MagSafe, which can also be used to attach MagSafe peripherals like the MagSafe wallet.

This is a leather case that magnetically attaches to your phone and holds your most often used cards.

As with your iPhone, iPad, AirPods, and other Apple devices, you can use the Find My function to track down any MagSafe accessories on an on-screen map.

The iPhone 13’s rear camera sensors no longer sit one above the other but instead are diagonally aligned in the top left corner

This makes the camera bump somewhat bigger than on previous iPhones, and while this may seem like a minor difference, it actually necessitates purchasing a new cover as the one you have for your iPhone 12 will no longer be a snug fit.

The iPhone 13, without being protected by a case, is unable to rest flat on a table due to the protruding camera bulge. The iPhone 13 is offered in five different colors: starlight off-white, midnight black, pink, blue, and Product Red Red.

Apple has a long-standing connection with the Global Fund to fight AIDS, and a portion of the proceeds from the red model’s sales goes to the fund.

The iPhone 13’s storage cannot be expanded externally, as with any other Apple product. The starting capacity of Apple’s iPhones has been increased from 64GB on the iPhone 12 to 128GB on the $799 iPhone 13.

The price jumps to $1099 for 512GB or an additional $300 for 256GB. This is on top of the complimentary 5GB of iCloud storage that Apple provides for every iPhone owner.

In most cases, even the cheapest of these storage options will be sufficient unless you’re an extreme user.

To get the extra space you need, you can subscribe to iCloud+ for an additional fee. Monthly fees begin at $0.99 for 50 GB, $2.99 for 200 GB, and $9.99 for 2 terabytes.
