The multi-genre music of Brandi M. Carlile (born June 1, 1981) has earned her three Grammy Awards. Carlile has been nominated for seven Grammys as of 2018[update], including six for, By the Way, I Forgive You, and one for The Firewatcher’s Daughter.
Carlile quit high school to focus on her music career, learning to play the piano and guitar on her own.
