Hillary Diane Clinton is a politician, diplomat, and ex-lawyer from the United States. She was the 67th secretary of state from 2009 to 2013, as well as a senator from New York from 2001 to 2009, and the First Lady of the United States from 1993 to 2001.
Clinton, a Democrat, became the first woman to win the nomination for president of a major U.S. political party in 2016. She went on to lose the election to Trump in the Electoral College despite winning the popular vote.
Is She a Lesbian?
In an interview broadcast on Wednesday, Hillary Clinton dispelled suspicions that she is a lesbian by refuting the allegations. Clinton has denied decades of tabloid speculation about her sexual orientation, saying instead that she has always been attracted to men.
She told Stern, “Contrary to what you may think, I truly enjoy guys,” before saying that her previous relationship with ex-President Bill Clinton was “very gorgeous” and looked like a “Greek god.”
Clinton was asked by the “shock jock” Stern, “Raise your right hand, you’ve never had a lesbian affair?”
The purpose of Hillary Clinton’s appearance on the show was to promote “When asked if she would ever write another book with her daughter Chelsea, “The Book of Gutsy Women,” Hillary and Chelsea’s response was, “Never, never never!” I’ve never been tempted in the slightest.”
Just unbelievable,” Stern remarked.
Robin Quivers, a coworker of Howard Stern’s, chimed in at that point to remark that women who have “strong ties” with other women can “raise suspicion.”
“It seems like whatever we do may be interpreted as a conspiracy,” Clinton added.
Trish Bendix, an LGBTQ and entertainment reporter for NBC News, said she was “disappointed” by Clinton’s remarks after the interview.
“Overall, I just don’t appreciate how she equated being lesbian or queer with being sexually promiscuous in order to refute lesbian rumors, because it’s so annoying when public individuals like Hillary feel the need to do so.
The word “tempted” comes to mind “Bendix stated to NBC News. The author argues that it is possible to dispel false beliefs about one’s identity without causing harm to others.
Is Hillary Clinton Still Married to Bill?
Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton are still very much together. They wed in 1975 after meeting for the first time in 1971. The wedding was a small, intimate Methodist service held in their living room.
Hillary announced to friends that she would be keeping her maiden name, Rodham because she and her husband planned to keep their personal and professional life distinct.
Hillary and Bill moved to Little Rock in 1976, and on February 27, 1980, Hillary gave birth to their only child, a girl named Chelsea.
Hillary didn’t begin campaigning under her married name until after Bill was re-elected governor of Arkansas in 1982.
However, in 1998, their marriage was shaken when it was discovered that Bill had an affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky, then 22 years old.
When these claims first surfaced, Hillary called them a “vast right-wing conspiracy.”
The president was impeached by the House of Representatives for the “Lewinsky” controversy but eventually exonerated by the Senate.
Hillary first denied that her husband had done anything illegal, but she subsequently conceded that she had been fooled by his denials that an affair had taken place.
And when it became clear that Clinton had been having an affair with Monica Lewinsky, Hillary made a public statement professing her love for him and their marriage.
This contradicted rumors that Hillary was secretly upset with him and on the fence about whether or not to continue the marriage.
The conflict was evident, but Hillary’s popularity increased, and she credited her husband for keeping the marriage together when she wrote about it in 2003 “a love that has lasted for decades;
she said, “No one gets me as Bill does, and no one makes me laugh as he does.” He remains the most fascinating, stimulating, and vibrantly alive person I’ve ever encountered, even after all these years.”
