Iker Casillas, a footballer for the Spanish national team, has a million fortune.
Both the Spanish national team and FC Porto’s goalkeeper, Iker Casillas, call him captain. His current annual pay is 7.5 million Euros, and he used to be Real Madrid’s goalie. In 2008, under his leadership, Spain won the European Championship for the first time in 44 years.
Casillas was named the Golden Glove winner, commonly known as the Yashin Award winner, after Spain’s historic 2010 World Cup victory. After a few years, in 2012, Spain won the European Championship with Casillas as captain, and he received even more praise for his efforts.
He entered football in the 1990–91 season after being born in Mostoles, Spain, and spending time in the club’s development system (La Fabrica).
He was called up to play against Rosenborg in the Champions League when he was 16, but he didn’t make his senior squad debut until a year later. In 2000, just four days after turning 19, he made history by becoming the youngest goalie to ever appear in a Champions League final, which Real Madrid won against Valencia.
As a testament to his greatness as a goalkeeper, Casillas was a 2008 finalist for the European Footballer of the Year award and finished in fourth place. In 2012, he made it six years in a row that he was selected to the UEFA Team of the Year.
Casillas was one of only a few players in 2011 to win every major club and national championship.
Casillas leads his teams to victories in the World Cup, European Cup, and European Championship for only the third time in football history. Casillas signed a contract with Adidas in January 2012, committing to use the brand’s Response goalkeeping gloves and Predator football footwear in his professional career.
After a long connection that began in 2004, Casillas has decided to sign with Adidas instead of Reebok. Casillas and his longtime girlfriend, model Sara Carbonero, have a kid named Martin.
