On February 22, 2019, the chief of police in Jupiter, Florida, charged Kraft with the misdemeanor of “soliciting someone to engage in prostitution.” A probe into human trafficking at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa led to the claims.
Investigators thought that the spa’s managers were trafficking women and making them do sex acts on clients against their will. At the Orchids of Asia Day Spa, Kraft was allegedly caught on tape engaging in sexual activities.
On March 19, 2019, Kraft was given a plea deal, but he turned it down because it required him to admit guilt. Kraft’s lawyers sent papers to the court on March 26, where he pleaded not guilty to all charges and asked for a jury trial.
In August 2020, a judge in Florida ruled that it was against Kraft’s constitutional rights for police to take away videotapes that showed him having sex at the spa.
The court said that the government couldn’t use the supposed videos in court. The charges against Kraft were dropped on September 24, 2020, because there wasn’t enough proof.

In 2010, Kraft and his wife, Myra, sold their 7,500-square-foot Cape Cod home to their son Jonathan for $3.8 million. Built-in 2006, the house has seven bedrooms and six bathrooms.
