Why Police Tried to Arrest Antonio Brown Multiple Times

Antonio Brown is in trouble with the law again after an alleged domestic dispute led to an arrest warrant for the former NFL star in Tampa.

Brown, who is 34 years old, is wanted on a misdemeanor battery charge from Monday when he and the mother of four of his six children got into an argument at his south Tampa home.

The Tampa Police Department says that officials tried to enforce the order at Brown’s home in south Tampa on Thursday, but they were unable to do so.

Thursday night, NBC News said that Tampa police are still trying to catch Brown, even though they have tried several times outside the house to carry out the order. The department also said to NBC that Brown “isn’t talking to police officers.

Tampa’s WFTS-TV said earlier in the day that police were at Brown’s house for more than an hour and used a megaphone to call to him from his front door. During their time at Brown’s house, police reportedly yelled, “We’re not going anywhere!” and told him they had already talked to his lawyer.

Police in Tampa said that Brown and a woman had a fight that started with words and turned physical earlier this week.

Authorities said in a statement that Sports Illustrated got that Brown threw a shoe at the woman and tried to kick her out of the house.

NBC said that Brown threw the woman’s things outside and threatened her over the speakerphone, saying at one point that “if she got in the house, he would shoot her in front of the police,” which is what court documents said.

NBC said that the papers said, “The kids were allowed to come inside the house, but they didn’t want to because they were afraid of their dad when he was in one of these bad moods.

According to WFTS, Tampa police filed a risk protection order against Brown on Tuesday, saying that he has access to two guns and carries a handgun. Later, Florida circuit court judge Denise A. Pomponio said no to the request, according to a document that the website Steelers Now got its hands on.
