Violent Night 2: Already in the Works, Directer Tommy Wirkola Confirmed

Violent Night is one of the most recent Christmas action movies, and it has already been given the go-ahead for a sequel starring David Harbour. People go to the movies all the time to watch Christmas-themed movies, and they always argue about which one is the best. There are movies like “Love Actually,” “Happiest Season,” and “Die Hard,” among others.

Violent Night, which came out in 2022, is said to be getting a sequel at some point in the future. This could be the start of a new Christmas movie series. Even though we don’t know much about this sequel, here’s what we do know about actor David Harbour’s next role as Santa Claus.

Will There Be a Second Season of Violent Night?

We can now say for sure that there will be a second Violent Night. In a recent interview with The Wrap, director Tommy Wirkola confirmed this information.

Wirkola said, “Yes…

We’re talking about it and we’re just making deals and getting everything in order.” The director added that they won’t be rushing the sequel but that they are already working things out.

Wirkola said, “We have time to really work on the script and figure out the story.” “And Pat, Josh, and I have some ideas. We’ve been talking with the producers about where we want to take it and what we want to see.”

But since the first movie just came out a few months ago, people will probably have to wait a while to see Harbour as Santa again. If and when a release date or window is given, we’ll be sure to keep this section up to date.

Plot Prediction for Violent Night 2

Wirkola hinted at some potential plot points for the sequel in the same interview with The Wrap.

“We left stuff on the floor like the North Pole, Mrs. Claus, and the elves,” Wirkola explained. “But, in terms of story, I think we have a really, really cool idea that expands on the world and scope while maintaining the tone that we love from the first one.”

The Violent Night sequel could explore the great Christmas mythology teased in the first film while also ensuring that Santa is still thrown into some crazy and over-the-top action.
