It shows how Yoichi Isagi, an unnamed high school football player who is conflicted about how he plays, joins the Blue Lock program to become the world’s best, most arrogant striker. Yoichi takes on the challenge and fights strong opponents with the help of his friends and Jinpachi Ego.

Blue Lock Episode 18: Recap

In episode 18 of Blue Lock, called “The Lead Actor’s Stage,” Isagi took over Barou’s role as the protagonist on the field. He did this by making Barou pass the ball to him with just a look. Isagi scored the goal, which tied the game. The next goal was going to be the game-winner.

Isagi and Nagi were able to come up with a plan to stop the Red team’s attack pattern, but it was Barou who stole the show because his mind didn’t let him pass to either Isagi or Nagi. Instead, Barou used chops to keep the ball in play and score the game-winning goal.

In the first part of Blue Lock episode 19, Isagi, Nagi, and Barou will choose their new teammate from the other team. Since Isagi was the best player in the game, it is likely that his teammates will let him choose the new player.
