Ricardo Rojas, who does hair for famous people, got a part in the next season of the Sex and the City spinoff And Just Like That.

Rojas told Media earlier this month that it had been a lot of fun and exciting. “My character is a hairdresser, and it’s so funny because life is just like art.”

Rojas can’t say much about the second episode of the HBO Max series, but she did say, “It was great from the start, and I have a great scene with Sarita Choudhury, who plays Seema.”

Rojas has worked his magic on some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, like Hilary Swank, Karlie Kloss, Emma Thompson, and more, just like the character he plays on screen.

When he moved to New York to work at Oribe Canales salon on Fifth Avenue, that was his big break. “Canales died in 2018 at the age of 62. She was known for dressing famous people like Linda Evangelista, Jennifer Lopez, and Meghan Markle.”

Oribe sent me to Miami, and when I got there, he called and asked me to do Donatella Versace’s hair… Rojas told Us, “She was my first big client, and she’s kept me busy for 10 years.” “She really showed me the way.

I met a lot of famous people through her, including some who came to her shows in the ’90s. Shop for the best makeup, hair care, skincare, and other beauty must-haves for 2023.

And Just Like That" Season 2

Rojas worked with Cher because he knew the 67-year-old fashion designer. “I worked on so many campaigns over the years, and Donatella was really the link.”

For Rojas, changing hairstyles is an adventure. He told Us that his most recent creation was a glamorous updo for Leah Remini for Marc Anthony and Nadia Ferreira’s wedding in Miami in January.

Rojas said, “Leah loves her long hair.” “But she wanted to show off her dress at Marc’s wedding, and it was so fun for me to try something new. So I showed her this look that was a lot like Brigitte Bardot’s.”

He said, “I know you don’t like updos, but I’m feeling this and I think it will work.” Rojas only used “two hairpins, styling lotion, and hairspray” to make the hairstyle, which is a lot less than you might think.

The hair expert said that, to Remini’s surprise, she really liked it. When it comes to fashion, the Argentinian is all about keeping things simple these days. He told us, “Less is more.”

“Everything you use on your hair or that is used on your hair should have a purpose. You want your hair to move freely and not be weighed down, which is why I’m trying to reflect.

Rojas wants to promote the idea of using hair as an accessory in 2023 hairstyles. He said, “It’s the last touch.” “This is the final phase. I also really like keeping my hair off my face.”

Rojas told Us, “Bangs are very personal.” “I’m not against bangs, but I think they should be seasonal. I like them more in the winter than in the spring and summer. Bangs look great with coats and scarves in the winter.
