The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most anticipated anime of the year. Not much is known about it yet, but here's what we do know.
After a long time, Jujutsu Kaisen's second season will start this year. It will adapt some of the most exciting parts of the manga. Even though we don't know much about the second season yet, what we do know is very exciting for fans of the popular Shonen series.
Among the most anticipated new Shonen animes of 2020 was Jujutsu Kaisen. It featured enjoyable characters, excellent animation, and hype-worthy battles. Fans have been impatiently awaiting fresh episodes ever since the first season concluded in March 2021.
They saw the prequel to the series's primary narrative, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, in December 2021. Since that time, no fresh animated Jujutsu Kaisen material has been released. Yet in 2023, all of that will change.
Latest Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 News
The most recent information about the anime comes from Jump Festa '23, where the release date and a teaser for the next season were announced.
The anime will start airing in July 2023 and go on for about six months, according to what was said.
With that news came a teaser picture of Geto, Gojo, Nobara, Yuji, and Megumi from the future standing next to Geto, Gojo, and Shoko from the past.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Release Date
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Will Be Aired in mid-July 2023.
At Jump Festa '23, it was said that the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen would start sometime in July 2023. It will be two seasons, which means it will probably keep airing until the end of the year and have about 24 episodes.
This is like the first season, which also had 24 episodes. But since more chapters of the manga are likely to be used in the second season, it's possible that season two will have a few more episodes.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Story Details
The second season will pick up with the two plot lines right after where the first season left off. The Gojo's Past arc (chapters 65–79) and the Shibuya Incident arc (chapters 79–136) will answer some of the most important questions from Season 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen.
In the first arc, we learn more about Gojo's past while he and Geto work on a mission that will change how they see Jujutsu society.
Geto uses curses to try to lock Gojo away in a Prison Realm in the second story. Many fans say that if Studio Mappa does a good job adapting these two arcs, Jujutsu Kaisen could be a candidate for the best anime of 2023.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Trailer
Mappa presented the above sneak glimpse of the upcoming season during Jump Festa '23. The teaser shows the designs of some of the most important characters in Gojo's Past story arc, but it doesn't show any new animation or the voice actors for the new characters.
Along with the main cast in the present, a poster for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 has also been released by Mappa. It features Geto, Gojo, and Shoko as children from Gojo's past as well as the main cast.
Who Plays What in Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen?
Even though there has been no official confirmation, it is almost certain that most, if not all, of the voice actors from Season 1 will be back for Season 2. Since they all have significant roles to play in the Shibuya Incident Arc, the majority of the significant characters from the first season who are still alive, such as Itadori, Megumi, and Nobara, will return at some point in the second season.
Fans' favorite Toji Fushiguro is one of the new characters that will be in the season, but there has been no word yet on who will be doing their voices. Studio Mappa will make it again, and many of the people who worked on the first season are likely to be back.
