The third and, supposedly, last season of Star Trek: Picard started last week. However, it looks like there could be a fourth season.
The Star Trek spin-off was first mentioned in 2018, and the first season will come out in 2020. The second season will air in 2022.
A third season was “informally” approved in 2020 so that it could be filmed at the same time as season 2.
Sir Patrick Stewart confirmed the season in 2021, and shooting will end in March 2022. Paramount said that season 3 of Star Trek: Picard would be the last.

In this article, we will discuss Will There Be a Star Trek: Picard Season 4 or not? Let’s find out in this article. Stay tuned with us till the end.
Will There Be Star Trek Picard Season 4?
At this point, it looks like Star Trek: Picard won’t have a fourth season. It has been said many times that the show was supposed to have three seasons, and the cast and creators have even called season 3 the “final season.”
Akiva Goldsman, who helped make Star Trek: Picard, told Media in 2020, “I mean, I think we have talked about it as both a three-season show and a “let’s just keep going forever” show. Star Trek: Picard will stay as long as Patrick Stewart wants to play him, in my opinion.
“I’m sure you know that he didn’t want to come back. And we did a lot of really good story-breaking and talking together, and I think he’s especially happy to have come back in a good way. And we’ll depend on that until he thinks he’s done.”
In February 2022, Goldsman told TrekMovie that “the door is always open for a season 4,” but that the show “was always meant to be three seasons.”
He went on: “If CBS, Patrick Stewart, and the rest of the world all said “season 4,” I’m sure we’d be interested, dare I say? But no, it’s still only good for three seasons.”
The news seemed to be fully confirmed in March 2022. Jeri Ryan, who plays Seven of Nine, went on Twitter after shooting for the third season was done and said, “That’s a wrap on #StarTrekPicard. So strange, since the second season just started.
“I can’t wait for season 3 to start so you can all see what’s coming! Our wonderful cast and staff have my heart. What a long way we’ve come…”
When asked if this meant that there wouldn’t be any more seasons, Ryan said, “No, it was always meant to be 3 and done.”
But earlier this year, fans saw a small sign of hope. The producer, Terry Matalas, said at a TCA panel, as reported by the AV Club, that the show was ending because the team wanted to give Picard and his crew a proper send-off.
He also said, “What better way to end the trip than to look back at the beginning and bring some Next Gen friends?” The story feels like it’s coming to an end.”
Even so, Patrick Stewart said at the same panel, “What we’ve been doing still has a lot of story potential, and doors are left open.”
He also said that he didn’t want Picard to look like a three-season reunion of Star Trek: The Next Generation because “that would just be stepping back.”
But if a new season were to be ordered, it doesn’t look like we would see it again until at least the summer of 2024.
Star Trek Picard Season 3 Finale!
Deanna can feel Jack inside the cube, which is only partly working and using its resources to boost Jack’s assimilation signal.
The only way to keep Jack from being taken over by the Borg is to cut off his link with them and destroy the technology that lets the Borg control the fleet.
Worf thinks it would be funny to blow up the cube while Jack is still inside. The rest of the team doesn’t even want to think about it. So the only place to go is inside the cube.
Beverly thinks of a way to find out where Jack is in the Enterprise-D cube. This shows how good she is at science and proves that she would have been a great CSO. You can also find the complete Star Trek Picard Season 3 Finale on our website Crossover99.
