Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is getting closer to its return to screens later this Summer, and to celebrate, Jujutsu Kaisen is giving us a better look at the character designs for young Kento Nanami and many other new characters we'll meet in Season 2!
At the end of the first season of the Jujutsu Kaisen series, it was said that Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fusiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki would fight harder than ever before. But before the cartoon can get to that point, it needs to spend some time filling in some blanks from the past.
Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen will start with the Hidden Inventory and Premature Death arcs from Gege Akutami's original Jujutsu Kaisen manga. Fans call them the Gojo's Past saga because they take place in 2006, years before the events of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and Season 1.
This gives the show a chance to add new characters and give some of the ones we already know a new look since it's around the time they start at Jujutsu Tech. Check out the new images for the characters in Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen below:

What Will Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen Be About?
Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen will start on July 6, and it has been revealed that it will have two courses of episodes. The new season will cover both the Gojo's Past arc and the Shibuya Incident arc.
In this first set of episodes, Gojo and Geto are on a very important task to guard someone who is very, very important to what will happen in the rest of the series, which we will see over the course of Season 1 and the Shibuya Incident Arc in Season 2.
It looks like the Gojo's Past arc will be expanded a bit since it will feature younger versions of some characters we didn't see much of in the manga's version of the events, as well as some new characters.

With Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen coming out in just a few more months, we won't have to wait long to see how this flashback fills in some important details.
