Loki Season 2 Release Date: When Can We Watch the Second Season?
The Cosmic Circus says that Loki Season 2 could come out in the fall of 2023, which is just a few months after the two-year anniversary of the show’s premiere in June 2021. The outlet’s sources say that October 2023 is the most likely month for the launch, not September 2023 as had been thought before.
They also say that the new season has been delayed because of “storyline issues” and that Jonathan Majors will still play Kang the Conqueror in the second season in a number of different ways.
Tom Hiddleston plays Loki, Sophia Di Martino plays Sylvie, Owen Wilson plays Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw plays Judge Renslayer, and Wunmi Mosaku plays Hunter B-15. Loki Season 2 Plotline: What Will Happen in Season 2?
The second season of the American television series based on the same-named villain from Marvel Comics, Loki, will soon air. It will continue the saga of Loki (Tom Hiddleston), a variation of the God of Mischief who escaped from Avengers: Endgame (2019) with the Tesseract and was apprehended by the Time Variance Authority (TVA), an administrative body that ensures the normal flow of time.
The TVA’s founder and a reincarnation of Kang the Conqueror, a potent creature who has conquered countless timelines, He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors) was faced by Loki and another version named Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) in the first season finale.
Loki was transported to a another reality where Kang is in charge of the TVA as a result of Sylvie killing He Who Remains, which sparked a multiversal conflict. The effects of Sylvie’s activities will be examined, as well as Loki’s efforts to thwart Kang and put the timelines back in order in the second season.
It will also feature the return of Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson), a TVA agent who befriended Loki, Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), a TVA judge who is loyal to Kang, Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku), a TVA hunter who rebelled against Kang, Casey (Eugene Cordero), a TVA clerk who helped Loki, and Miss Minutes (Tara Strong), a sentient clock and the mascot of the TVA.
The second season will be a part of Marvel Studios’ Phase Five and will have connections to other planned works like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023).
