A Major Twist by The Witcher Season 3 Merch!

The Witcher Season 3 doesn’t come out for a few more weeks, but it looks like a major plot twist has already been spoiled by leaked pictures of the merchandise.

Redanian Intelligence says that a number of T-shirts and pictures of them were sold on the website Urban Species. Some of these prints show the bad guys from the series.

One shows the Wild Hunt together, and another shows the people who back Nilfgaard.

Notably, the print of the Nilfgaardians also shows the mage Vilgefortz, who seems to be alongside well-known Nilfgaardians like Cahir, Fringilla Vigo, and Emperor Emhyr var Emreis.

On the picture, it says, “All hail the White Flame.” It’s worth noticing that the print doesn’t seem to be available on the Urban Species website anymore.

In the Witcher, Who is Vilgefortz of Roggeveen?

If you’ve read Andrzej Sapkowski’s books, the cliffhanger might not come as much of a surprise. Vilgefortz was introduced in Blood of Elves (translated by Danusia Stok), but he didn’t meet Geralt of Rivia until Time of Contempt (translated by David French).

This was just before the Thanedd Coup, which ended the Brotherhood of Sorcerers and was a major turning point in the war between the Northern Kingdoms and the Nilfgaardian Empire.

The Witcher Season 3

In the Netflix show, Mahesh Jadu plays the role of Vilgefortz of Roggeveen. He first appeared in Season 1 and fought in the Battle at Sodden Hill, which fans of the books didn’t like because the mage is known for being good at both magic and fighting without magic.

The show, on the other hand, showed him losing to Cahir, who is a good fighter in the books but not good enough to beat Vilgefortz.

What to Expect in Season 3 of “The Witcher”

Season 3 of The Witcher will be based on the events of Time of Contempt, but director Lauren S. Hissrich has already said that there will be parts from Blood of Elves and even Sword of Destiny.

She said that a big plot point will be in Season 3 because there wasn’t enough time for it in Season 2. The director has also said that the next season will be more like the books than the seasons before it.

We can’t do every page, but Time of Contempt had a lot of big action scenes, story points, character-defining moments, and big reveals of a big bad. We were able to stay very close to the books because there was so much to do,” she said.
