What Happened To The Bodies On The Titan Sub?
The Titan Submersible lost contact after about 1 hour and 45 mins after submerging in the North Atlantic Ocean and a rescue search began after it had failed to resurface at the scheduled time. After about nearly 80 hours of search, a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) discovered a debris field containing parts of the Titan.
The debris was found approximately 488 meters from the bow of the Titanic which suggested that the submarine might have imploded. The findings were carried out by the United States Navy’s declassified Sonar detection of an Implosion in the area on the day of the expedition.
The submersible had imploded shortly after the Titan began its descent which resulted in the death of the passengers. Many concerns have been raised about the safety of the vessel. Reports making round is that executives of the Titan did not seek certification for the Titan and that safety protocols also hindered innovation.
The search and rescue operation was carried out by an international team which was led by the United States Coast Guard, United States Navy, and the Canadian Coast Guard. The recuse mission was also supported by aircraft from the Royal Canadian Air Force and United States Air National Guard, and the Royal Canadian Navy ship and other research vessels.
