Madonna had planned on going on a world tour where she was to perform some of her greatest hits from her 1983 album “Madonna” to her 2019 album “Madame X.
Madonna was reported to develop a serious bacterial infection which lead to the singer being placed in ICU. However, it has been reported that the singer’s health is stable but she is still placed under medical care.
According to reports from Page six she was rushed to the hospital after she was unresponsive and was intubated for one night before the tube was removed. Madonna last had health issues in 2020 when she had to undergo a replacement surgery which lasted for about a year.
She was reported to have sustained the injury during her Madame X tour which forced her to cancel several North American Tours. Madonna is expected to make a full recovery but her tour which was scheduled to take place next month has been placed on hold for the meantime.
