And let me tell you, it’s quite unfortunate. Saku rescues an abandoned Yukichi who is being pelted with stones. The backstory of Yukichi seems intriguing, and we would love to see it explored further.
It would be intriguing to learn about his existence as a stray and the circumstances surrounding his abandonment.
Then there is Saku, who is a total disaster. Therefore, it appears that Yukichi adopted her rather than the other way around. The cat is extremely protective of her and meets all of her needs, to the point where it appears she cannot survive without him.
I mean, throughout the entire episode, we see her coworkers telling her that she needs a male to date and eventually marry. They informed her that she required a caregiver because she was a disaster.
Moreover, I believe that because the cat is so large, Saku does not let him outside very often. I suppose she is concerned that he will be labeled as a freak, but there is a sweet elderly woman who is aware of Yukichi’s existence. This makes me somewhat intrigued about how people will react when they uncover him.
Overall, it is a humorous, laid-back style of anime that you will appreciate viewing. And I would recommend viewing it with your pet if you are a cat lover. Everyone would want a cat like this, who is not only well-mannered but also cooks and cleans!
